Quoted from hawkmoon:Now,to mass produce, and ship worldwide!!!
Nooo dude , people tend to get in trouble that way
Everything is gonna break for sure
Time for a final shot of the right sling flasher completed, next week we will finish the left
Quoted from chadderack:Boom confirmed!
Yeah you got me,i love that word
Quoted from aobrien5:You guys need to post shorter videos, I can hardly watch them all!
Yeah i know,we'll make longer ones from the more interesting stuff.
They upload relatively fast when they are short and serve their purpose.
And hey...longer than JPop's Magic Girl vids?!
Quoted from J85M:Awesome up date Amigos, thoroughly enjoying catching up this week while I am parked on the Euro Tunnel shuttle making my way from England on my way to Germany to pick up a NIB pin
Supercool! What are you hauling?
Quoted from Redknight87:Great progress today! Thank you as always for the update. Rock on!
And thank you for passing by!
Quoted from labnip:sa-weet
Hey Brett!Yeah,it is coming along but weird how the evening flew by yesterday..these plastics are a real pain and very labour intensive.
Every step needs pre fitting.
But as you see we now have flashers almost everywhere now so i can make them cycle real well when one accomplishes something in the game.
It was Mic's idea to install flasher domes on the slings and we all really dig it.
So you Amigos are working hard to finish this awesome pin and bring it to Texas Pinball Festival in March right?!?!?!

Wouldn't that be cool..but life is in the way(and an ocean)

do the darker flasher covers (like the purple) keep the LED light from being too bright when down close to the player's eyes?
Quoted from pinballrockstar:Wouldn't that be cool..but life is in the way(and an ocean)
we need a Go Fund Me for the Minion Amigo's to get to the Texas Pinball Festival with their pin at the end of March !
Quoted from labnip:do the darker flasher covers (like the purple) keep the LED light from being too bright when down close to the player's eyes?
Yes it is way better than a yellow or white flashercap,i guess we'll see how the darker flashercaps pan out during gameplay.
I see your point,if it is way too bright it can be rather annoying right
Maybe if they are too bright we can stick a round decal to the top inside the flashercap so the flash will be milder.
I hope to write a piece of flashercode in oncoming days..would be cool if the flashershow cycles around 2 times on the playfield.
I am betting it looks real nice!
Thanks for your thought on that Brett.

Not sure how far from you guys I was on the way back my sat nav decided to take home through the very bottom of the Netherlands that makes 5 countries I've been in within 24hours
I saw wings there. We're they good? I live in a suburb of the city that created them.
One other thing I noticed. We got mick and dick. Did we ever get the 3rd amigos name within the last 60 pages of this thread?????

Is there any reason to be concerned about the ball hitting the flasher lugs and shorting them? Hard to tell from those pics but heat shrink might be a good idea!
Quoted from aobrien5:Is there any reason to be concerned about the ball hitting the flasher lugs and shorting them? Hard to tell from those pics but heat shrink might be a good idea!
Yes afterwards i was concerned about that too until i realised a flasher is powered for 40 milliseconds only..
The odds for the ball shorting in that time window is impossible.
We will heat shrink them anyway next friday , i share your concern and better be safe than sorry right?
P-ROC boards are expensive
Quoted from pinballrockstar:The odds for the ball shorting in that time window is impossible.
Which, in my experience, means you'll see it about once a week.
(I do software for a living, so Murphy's law is my bible).

Ha, exactly!
Quoted from Dee-Bow:Now I remember where I've seen you guys....great job this week boys..see u next Friday!
I just got to see the 3 amigos movie again,i loved chevy chase and steve martin back in the day.
Real feelgood movies.
A couple of weeks ago "twins" with devito and schwarzenegger was on,i laughed myself to tears..it kind of faded how i always have loved devito.
These movies are timeless,my kids love Back to the future and Alf when we watch it.
See you next friday!

i just had to replace some original clear flasher covers on a Super Mario Bros pin that were about halfway down the playfield and tilted towards the player's eyes. Your pic just reminded me of that. But, I like your idea of maybe adding a protective piece under that cap, if needed. I might have to cut out some mario pix in a circle shape and add those to my caps now.
I had to leave the office early on Friday so I missed most of your great work. So in a way I get TWO Friday's this week!
Looking forward to the next one.
A fellow pinsider, irobot, found this listing and is offering it up to others before he jumps on it, thought I would share it with you Amigos in case you are in need...
