Next dpo expo is 2017 so you have plenty of time to compleet it.

Bitmap fonts work very well on something like a dmd, that has a very small pixel grid:

20 pages in and this thread continues to impress. the team's energy level is literally through the roof. hat's off to the synergy the three of you seem to have 
have you considered using a color dmd solution instead of the standard gas plasma? if so, I would be more than glad to lend my services in helping you create and color some animation sequences (I couldn't bear to see lapnip steal all of the thunder in assisting

Yeah,that was too narrow, but it will be perfect in the end Wil.
We are also going to shorten the shooter lane too make more space.

We decided to use a computer lcd in our next build, we like the old school look on the minion machine.
We know there is hilarious material from the movie at hand,we will be asking you for help on the next build though!!

Ive been following the project since your first post and it just keeps getting better and better, the attention to detail guys on the house alone is out of this world!
But I must have missed the idea in this update while in hospital. That ball return from the sub playfield via the VUK is awesome

Well luckely you made it out of the hospital too!
Thanks, we were pretty happy with the magnet ball lock and apron vuk, the last one being a first in pinball we believe.
man you guys have some crazy skills, love how you casually say just bending some stainless yet it's ended up looking perfect
Do you have much of an idea when you may have the game complete? You seem to be progressing pretty quick for such a complex project.
We will have it done quicker than we could imagine, but remember that we have to take out the entire playfield again and re install everything on the final field.
That is something we don't look forward to...that is going to eat some time, along with adding the artwork.
So the finishing touch will probably eat up half a year.
