Getting mine next week. How are the playfields? Any issues? Hopefully better than the past from JJP?
Also. Sorry first new pin. Are you opening the box inspecting it before signing?

My Gabby Gabby is saying there is an error in the test menu and doesn’t pop up. However she works fine in the game. I remember reading something from someone a few days ago but I just can’t find that post now. Any ideas? Thanks guys.
Quoted from Pinballomatic:What software version are you running?
The latest 1.07. I did see there was errors in previous firmware version, but I thought that was fixed in the latest? When I run the test it tries a few times, then says something like there is an error then disables it. To reenable hold the left flipper button.
After unpacking the game and before even putting the balls in I took a close look at the playfield and saw ALOT of issues with bubbles under the mylar, gouging and chips. There were gouges under the mylar infront of the scoop, chips on the bottom around the posts and the duke Kaboom hole is pretty bad. I will have to give it to the first leg of support. They are sending me out a new spinner, but I'd like thoughts on what I should do about all the chips and scratches? What should I expect from JJP? I've read the horror stories about other games playfields, but I didn't think it would be THIS bad. Was this QAd at all?

Thanks guys.. Yeah direct from JJP. I put in a ticket.. man nothing but problems. On my 4th game the left flipper coil and coil stop fell off. Such high hopes.. But those 4 games I did enjoy. haha I always wonder what if this was someone first pin, or someone who wasn't as comfortable lifting the playfield.
Nah man, not for 12k and out of the box.
Quoted from flynnibus:It's wood man... not precision milled surgical tools.
The stuff you are highlighting is nothing of concern. Your only concern would be the cutout for the duke caboom if it's clear chipping vs just irregularities in the wood. The scratches in the mylar in front of the scoop are irregular but that is a wear item anyway. At best I might ask for a replacement sticker/protector there.. the other stuff.. you're over analyzing it.
Any suggestions for adjusting the kickback? a little less than half the balls that go down the left side fly right past the kickback. If it was only a little quicker.
Does anyone else’s ball jump off the right track just below the duke kaboom clear plastic on top? It’s almost like it needs one small guide on it.
Quoted from zaphX:It is for moving the outlane post up to make the game easier.
Thanks!
Nice!
I can’t wait for someone to make these to sell
Quoted from AMSNL:I made the CE shooter for my LE . Did the middle blue piece a little different to match the trim of the LE.

I will complete him and will share when tested

Nice!
How would you hook an external sub up to this game? Just tap the two wires of the speaker in the cabinet or is there a better way for jersey jack games?
After patiently waiting for a Pixar ball shooter rod, I got tired and made my own. This is way better than the one Jersey Jack puts on CEs as it’s totally made of rubber and the star won’t flake off since it’s not painted on.
Since I was at it I made a few extras if anyone is interested. The balls were ridiculously expensive, so I’d like to get 70 each plus 10 shipping if in the US. Will donate 10% to pinside if they sell. PayPal f&f only.

Quoted from SuperMas77:Both ramps drop right on top of the inlane switches so yes, I'd put some on there for sure.
I put protectors on them and the ball kept getting stuck. Tried on both drops and the same thing.
Quoted from SuperMas77:Reverse the cliffy's in the opposite direction and reinstall them. Does this fix that issue? I recall others on here having a similar experience.
I did actually try that, but still no go.. Good suggestion though!
One left if anyone else is interested.
Happy Wednesday!
