Quoted from Max_Badazz:Anyone have an idea as to how to raise the Kaboom ramp on the upper playfield facing side? When it's down, the top part is lower than the playfield causing the balls to hop and will eventually wear that part out. The spinner was easy to do but I don't see anywhere to slightly adjust that jump ramp
the 4 large hex posts below the mech should adjust the resting position of the ramp
Does anyone need plastic protectors for their game? I was going to trade my Godzilla LE for a Toy Story CE, but my wife liked Foo Fighters better so I went that route after I already ordered plastics for this game from Mezel Mods (neon yellow ones). Just message me, first one gets them since I have no need for them now, and I really rather have someone here get them then just returning them. The person I was going to trade did not want them after the fact for some reason.
Thank you,
Jason
Quoted from Mcgringoloco:anyone receive OEM art-blades yet????
Are they shipping? Cointaker and FlipNOut still list them as preorder. I'm interested too because I have a set from Tilt Graphics I was going to install tomorrow but would prefer the JJP ones.
This is a first. Washer on the right slingshot broke. Never had a washer break before. Anyone know of a particular part number or size so I can order a handful from say….pinball life or Marco? Shipping is expensive up here to Canada and while I do have to put a parts order in shortly on some other items, I want to ensure I’m also ordering the right replacement washer also.

After the GNR clear coat pooling issues started becoming a hot topic, JJP started putting these around any post that could take a hard hit as a way to mitigate that issue.

Thanks. I was looking inside the mech for small screws and didn't even realize those massive hex screws sticking out were what I needed
All nice and flat now

Yeah it’s actually a nice engineering element they put into those mechs to make it easy to adjust. Jjp does spend energy on some good serviceability aspects.
Besides the figurines coming off and the lock opto switches being fickle… the game has held up well on location
Was putting on sideart blades just now and had the playfield out and noticed some stuff I didn't when unboxing a few weeks ago.
Not sure if this was never connected or popped off while jostling stuff around.
These were in the bottom of the cabinet. Anyone recognize them?
Perhaps one of those screws were holding the green ground wire on?

Connect the ground under one of the nearby screws with the ground braid running through. The thumb screws are likely from your coin door mechs.

When you're on the initials screen to enter your name for a high score, instead of typing in your name or initials just hit the left flipper to move the character entry to 'end' and then hit the start button. It will take your picture and randomly enter your name as a character from the movie (i.e. Woody, Forky, Bo Peep, etc.). Stumbled upon this by accident on my Godfather and it holds true for Toy Story as well.
Anxiously waiting for the Topper? Per Ken Cromwell this am:
"the Toppers should be available before the end of the month. We were waiting on part of the packaging in order for us to start shipping. "
Just FYI.

Are they still available to order anywhere? They seemed to be sold out the minute they went live on several sites.

I have mine set up for 11 character entry, but I hear what you're saying. Old schools initials. I remember when my brother and me had to write our Mata Hari high scores on hockey tape with a sharpie and stick them to the back box.

Hey Guys, as a soon to be owner of a GF and a TS i took it upon myself to make a iscored account for these 2 tables and ill most likely do and add the other JJP tables. From my understanding there's really not a JJP global high score feature and its been a while for jjp to make something.
anyway, i created / im creating custom graphics for the "install graphic" option that are in the settings.
i have not tested these as i dont have the pins yet, but hey maybe you guys would like it and add it.
i plan to make a seperate post once i have my machines and tested

Thanks everyone for all the great posts the content has been awesome, looking forward to sharing thoughts on the game. So far++ adding JJP toppers are awesome!

Making me jealous with that ground level accessible basement. 10 years ago I refinished ours, it makes up almost a 3rd of the house's space, and it sits there unused cause the stair well makes it near impossible to move any machines down there. It's basically become a toy dumping ground for our kids.

Was the box dimensions 31.5 x 31.5 like jjp states?

That is hilarious, same issue we had! All the kids toys were piling up in the basement was definitely a dead space as the kids never went down stairs anyways. We didnt have the double door walk out. When we put that in and got rid of the kids toys, they were older at that point I lobbied for a Home theater and got that and so much more. The guys delivering today were sayin easiest delivery of the month. And the space is now known as dads game room lol…. Definitely worth the 10K for engineering and architecture and permit process…took a lot of work (We had grading issues) for sure. But so glad as our stairway would have been hell to bring the pins GF or TS was 350 lbs I think one of the guys said…yikes.

That sounds about right. I didn’t specifically measure but certainly larger than the Stern box bond came in. They took the boxes with them unfortunately so can’t confirm absolutely. Sorry.
Hi all,
After I had several discussions with guest who were afraid in finding it: Where actually is the inner loop?
Thank you

Shoot the Bo Peep spinner from the upper right flipper to complete the inner loop shot. If you shoot it clean it should come right back around to the upper right flipper, if not it may drop down into the jets.
I played Toy Story LE yesterday at CA Extreme and really enjoyed it! I also played other titles I’d never touched including Godfather, Venom, Foo Fighters, Mandalorian, Bond 60th, Galactic Tank Battle and Toy Story put the biggest smile on my face, even though I couldn’t hear the sound very well. The game definitely felt on the easy side and I put up high score #1 of the day and my photo on the one and only game I played.
I’m selling my Alien LV and added Toy Story as a potential trade game. I really enjoy JJP pins and have never sold any of my JJP titles. They make such high quality pins, I can’t get enough of them.
Is Toy Story code deep and challenging enough for a home environment? That’s my only concern with this title. Is the final wizard mode easy to achieve? Toy Story definitely has a huge fun factor and just about anyone can relate to this theme! I didn’t expect to like it and was pleasantly surprised

Deep enough? Yes. Challenging enough if you're a decent player? That depends. I've played about 150 games and hit "part one" of the Wizard Mode about 5 times (you have to complete it twice to "finish" it). If you want a challenge that's hard to achieve, maybe not the best pin. If you're looking for a fun pin that you can put 5-10 games on every day and still enjoy playing it, it may be fantastic.

Thanks for sharing that. How’s the difficulty compared to Wonka? I find Wonka to be quite challenging and have gotten three golden tickets, but never reached Pure Imagination. If code depth and difficulty are similar to Wonka, I wouldn’t lose interest. WOZ, POTC and GNR are extremely challenging and I doubt I’ll ever reach the final wizard modes on those two, which is OK as it keeps me coming back. On Hobbit, I’ve seen most of the game, killed Smaug, played through all three wizard modes and had hour long games. Still haven’t reached There and Back Again final wizard, but I’ve come close with 30 modes started. Toy Story looks like just plain fun for anyone which seems like a good game to have in the collection for friends and family who aren’t pinball wizards.
I’m also looking at Scooby Doo and I hear good things about that game. Alien is an incredibly immersive game, but it just brutal and is frustrating for many players. It’s also a horror theme and doesn’t usually put a smile on my face. Quite the opposite, in fact! Well, maybe when saving Jonesy the cat or frying the queen mother LOL
One last question: is code considered complete for Toy Story or has JJP left it unfinished with bugs and missing modes and such like POTC or GNR?
Hi all,
I have to change the rings at the top of the playfield (next to the bumpers). I would like to know what I have to remove as a screw (I mean I would not like to have disassembling everything when it is not necessarily necessary). If i need to remove all the clear plastic until behind the mini screen etc ... Do you have a tutorial or recommandations/advice please?
Thanks in advance !
Quoted from darkryder:Thanks for sharing that. How’s the difficulty compared to Wonka?
I traded my Wonka for TS4. I think Wonka is definitely deeper and more challenging. I only reached Pure Imagination once or twice after a thousand plays. As for the code for TS4 - I think it's complete, but I really haven't dug super deep into it yet.

Very cool, so no regrets so far? Is the CE that much better than the LE? Any code differences with the CE like Wonka? I prefer the blue powder on the LE, similar to Wonka. The Toy Story I played yesterday was an LE and the lighting was fantastic. It didn’t even have a topper and the wife and I really liked it. That Duke Kaboom shot was great! No need for Pinstadiums on this game, although my Wonka LE came with them and they look great on that title

I've had both games, they are very similar in terms of layout and the way they shoot. I don't think either game is that deep, but I definitely think the toy story code and shots gives you more to do on your way. I sold wonka after playing TS about a week.
Quoted from darkryder:Thanks for sharing that. How’s the difficulty compared to Wonka?
I currently have both Wonka and TS4. I feel they’re different enough where I enjoy playing both but there are some similarities. TS4 is easier to get to the Wizard Mode but if you actually want to complete all the scenes it could make it more challenging. I tend to gravitate more towards Wonka as I’m constantly chasing Pure Imagination. My best so far is 4 golden tickets and getting to play Most Secret Machine.
As for code I think Wonka is done, I don’t know what more you could add. I hope they add more code to TS4 to do something different for “Round 2” of the Wizard mode rather than just repeating the same scenes with the same rules.
Wonka is hands down a better machine for replay value. Owner on both.

Has JJP fixed the scoring issues with a code update yet?
I sold my CE ASAP before the crash and can't wait to join the club again.
Looking for used CE in the midwest, LE would work as well if it was low enough.

I traded my Wonka LE for the TS4 CE with a buddy. I wasn't looking for it, and I definitely don't personally want higher trim pins, but it's nice. Is it worth a couple grand over an LE? For me, never. And I probably won't keep this TS4 for too long - it's fun, but like Godzilla it's not really clicking for me.
For code, I believe Annie Potts does some voiceover on the CE. I also prefer blue over red, but it is what it is. The red does look absolutely glorious and deep, the best paint I've seen on a pin.
Since the LE only has 300 Individually Controlled RGB LEDs, while the CE has 450+ Individually Controlled RGB LEDs: Where are the additional 150 RGB LEDs placed?

Topper would be my guess.

Under cabinet lighting in addition to the topper mentioned above would be an additional guess.
