No listing on their store for TS4 parts yet, you have to call or email (I suggest calling, and if they dont answer, leave your info)

Fill out a support ticket. They typically get back to you within a day.
Quoted from pinwiz71:Hi all. We have a TS4 CE. I noticed something weird. In attract mode, the left lock post will trigger randomly (going down then back up). Has anyone seen this happen to theirs? Thanks in advance...
Quoted from LTG:I don't have a game to check.
If a switch triggers it, I'd start there. Might need adjusting or cleaning or something.
Tests - Switches Matrixed might help. Look over error log for clues too.
LTG : )
Mine does this too. Not all the time...but occasionally. Did you find a solution?
Quoted from marioparty34:So I pulled off the casing this morning and here is what I found... The opto is placed too far back from the wheel. The opto will never be triggered by the turning of the wheel.
I am thinking about taping some paper to lengthen what would normally break the opto signal.
Thoughts?
[quoted image]
I'm having the opposite error 'check topper switch #d161, Duke wheel flag opto (stuck open)'. I took off the casing and found that the red and black opto wires had wrapped around the end of a fastener so that they were tight and wouldn't let the wheel turn. The black wire had been pulled out of the opto completely, hence the 'stuck open' error.
I will be putting a ticket in with JJP tomorrow to see what they can do about the opto, because I see no way to reconnect the black wire.
Quoted from zh2oson:Mine does this too. Not all the time...but occasionally. Did you find a solution?
In test mode on my CE I found one of the left ball lock optos were fluttering very rapidly between activated and unactivated. In Device Tests, Left Lockup Test, you can tell the game to calibrate the sensors (page 25 of the manual). It took about three tries for me but eventually the fluttering stopped and the optos stayed unactivated.
Quoted from bent98:Quick question, I know your trying to hit the skill shot with the plunger so you don't want the ball to plung that hard but at full strength is it supposed to make the ramp shot? Auto plunger does it no problem.
I have the same problem and I think you should be able to plunge to the ramp. I've noticed in the shooter lane, the ball rests on the auto-plunger whereas all of my other games it sits on the tip of the shooter rod. There's maybe a 1/8" gap between the ball and the shooter rod tip. That's enough to rob some of the plunger power so that the ball can't make it all the way around.
I'm not sure how to fix this short of shifting the entire auto-plunge mech 1/8" to compensate.
Lastly, there are two LEDs behind the backglass, one on either side of the camera. These appear to light the Bensons in the backglass on either side of the camera. In my game the one LED is not riveted to its base so it hangs loose in the backbox. Anyone else had this?

JJP is sending me a new opto, a new shooter rod spring, and new backbox LED lamp socket!
When is new code coming out for this machine? I can’t be the only one with bugs and glitches in their game. One big one for me is the daily high score. The machine always has the person with the lowest score enter their score as todays high score. So whoever is the worst player when I am playing with my friends gets to enter in their name as the high score winner and nobody else gets to enter in their name. Very weird glitch, and makes people start fighting sometimes. My game room is going to be destroyed in a bar fight. LOL

Personally, I think you should differentiate between new code and bug fixes. New game code probably isn't coming anytime soon. Bug fixes are more likely and will probably sneak out when their next update is ready. Which last I knew they were working on adding additional sound mixer options.
I don't see much value in the Today's high scores in a home use setting. You can turn them off in the settings.

Have you opted into beta updates? Not sure if there's been any adjustments there regarding high scores.
Quoted from Cire113:Is there any way to disable or turn off the camera when enabling high scores ?
You can turn off camera in settings and you can also turn off camera per game before you start a game.

wait so you can have high scores kept without the annoying Awkward camera pictures? This is the most exciting news ive heard all week
On route to location now can’t find the settings anywhere to turn off camera mind helping me where it’s at ?

Before pressing start, you can hold the right flipper in, which will give you some options, such as turning off the camera for the next game, connecting a bluetooth headset, and turning on tournament settings. I'm pretty sure an operator can turn on and off this feature though.

Well I understand what you mean;
I know about that setting I was trying to find in settings though where the option to permanently turn the cam off

I’m pretty sure I saw it in settings on my TS4. Wish I could help. You can cover the camera with electrical tape or I think it comes with a sticker In the goodie bag

Full Menu -> Settings -> Game Settings -> Camera -> Disable Camera.
It's near the bottom of the list of game settings.

Quoted from Navystan:Anyone know? Does this plug belong plugged in? It's just dangling behind my display. I've been working on a bad topper and maybe I accidentally unplugged this?
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
Extra just like when I work on my car. Seriously just auxiliary stuff. I don’t have topper so you could trace down the power input to the topper and see if it hooked to anything
So, my topper saga continues. JJP send me a new control board for the topper since it was resetting game. Well, new board didn't help and now both old and new boards don't work. I added connectors one at a time to narrow down issue and discovered the micro USB data cable causes game to not start. I tried another cable to see if a cable issue, but same issue, game doesn't start. Any ideas what to do? When I unplug the data cable to the topper, the game works fine.

Quoted from fastchef:Having an issue with Gabby Gabby and she keeps popping up and down for no reason.
Tests - Switches - Matrixed, the optos on the assembly, are they working ? May need cleaning, or popped out of holder.

For anyone that can make it all the way around to the right ramp off the plunge, please look at your plunger. Does the ball sit on the plunger tip or on the auto ball launcher?

All the fixes from JJP worked, except the new shooter rod spring, see above.
I had the same issue on my POTC a couple of years back. Then on Toy Story, the ball also rests a little to the left on the auto-plunger, not the tip, just as you describe. The game is fully level - it is an issue that the playfield is out of alignment with the cabinet. In both cases, the solution to my problem was putting a small piece of cardboard under the hook where the playfield connects to the front of the machine. This changes the relationship of the playfield to the cabinet slightly and fixed the problem for both POTC and TS.

Could this not be achieved by bending the hook itself?
Quoted from zermeno68:For those that have Wonka and TS4, how is the gameplay compared? Is there room for both in a small collection? Given Pat L. Designed both do both games flow/shots feel too similar to keep both?
If you observe Dailed In, Wonka and now TS4, I see common shots within his designs but slight difference in the inner shots.
Thoughts?
Wonka by a long shot!
Quick question my game booted up today loaded to a black screen and stayed black ;
Turning off and on fixed but still wandering what that was

Maybe the motherboard bios messed up. I wouldn't worry about it.
If it keeps happening, reseat power and data cables at monitor and where they come from.

Dear Joe Katz,
I love my Toy Story!
I need more Duke kaboom aka Keanu Reeves call outs!!!!
It’s not the TS we all wanted so work with what you got.
Sadly it looks like no ducky n bunny callouts,so load up on Duke callouts.
They are hilarious.
If JJP wants to sell a shit ton of these.
Advertise that those are the real Keanu Reeves quotes from the movie.
I love them.
Thanks can’t wait for the next update .

I did not know reeves played kaboom so cool,I love that my man Tim Allen is the real voice of the game, love toy story even more.I just dont get why is not more loved,I really love the amusement park Theme ,price is not longer a factor since stern has raised its prices.

I’m not sure why it isn’t a more liked game either. We like ours. We win, they lose

I couldn’t agree more. I’m on repeat, I’ve never watched even one minute of any of the movies. I love the game. It’s fun to shoot. Light show is incredible. Feels like you’re at a carnival. The sound effects always shine on All JJp sound systems. The topper is stunning. The kaboom ramp is way more fun than most think. The ramps are unique and smooth. I really like the physical ball lock shot. I find it difficult! Lol
It’s a joy to play.
For example
I needed funds this week for a car purchase. I had to sell a game.
Toy Story is still here.
Haters will hate.
Bond LE with a future topper and shooter rod will be more than $15k!
Just sayin’
I bought the RV kit and here’s my version of decorating the topper with the characters. I added a pizza planet mini box that I thought was really cute. I’m planning on doing some mods for those for inside of the game that are mini. I added duke kaboom in the game. I’ll let you know if I hit him with the ball. Lol
