I picked up some of this Rust Remover Soak since it was on discount at Orchard Supply. https://www.wd40specialist.com/products/rust-remover/
Turned out really well. I forgot to take before/after photos, but it sat for 12 hours or so, nothing got chewed up and the rust was gone. A few pieces(like a ball gate flap) got discolored, but things like bolts and brackets all came through great. Just a heads up for those who can't find Evaporust.
