I have rebuilt my wcs94, new ball, plate and motor. I also waxed and put new rubbers on. It started off fine but after a 20-30 games where the ball is hitting things at a much faster pace then before the restoration, I am now getting washing machine spin cycle like vibrations coming from the spinning ball. When I view the ball spinning, the screw at the top does seem a bit off-centre. But there is no wobble in the shaft. I'm wondering if the plate attaches to the shaft by the grub screws is really centered or whether I need to alter it a bit. Is a lot of vibration normal in these machines? It's a bit off putting.

Also installed cliffy protectors. Now top eject hole is not cleared properly and will not hit goal. Annoyed if I have to take it all apart again to remove cliffy. Wondering if I should try to cut away some of the cliffy.

Thanks

I took the ball off and the screw hole makes a small circle when running (rather than staying as a dot in the middle). It is only slight though. Funny when I put the ball back on, the wobble looks more pronounced now but the vibrations seem less. Am I just worrying over nothing, will there always be some vibrations with these soccer balls, and do I just live with it?

BTW, I was able to reduce noise drastically by adding a couple of sprays of lithium grease. There was already hardened blue grease in the new gear box, so I cant seem that a little extra would cause problems.
