    First, you should get the words in order, I think you mean transformer and not transistor. Not sure where you put your probes when testing the continuity of the red wires from the transformer to the j101 connector. Also don't be fooled by the transformer winding being a very low resistance and could be interpreted as continuity. Disconnect the connector at the transformer and j101. With the connector disconnected on both sides, check continuity again. If it's good plug back the connector at the transformer, but this time place your probe on the side of the transformer and at the end of j101. Maybe the connection in the connector at the transformer is not good.
