Hello,

I picked up my second machine recently, a re-import WCS (from France). Needs some work and a good cleaning/shop job. Plays well, but ball doesn't spin and I keep getting 'check switch F6 - UR flipper but' error on startup. The error message doesn't affect play as far as I can tell.

While inspecting under the playfield I noticed a connector (black and gray/yel wires) coming off the white IDC (pictured) from the opto board (i think?). I can't find where this connector should go (if anywhere).

Also, there are 4 extra holes in the left ramp. Am I missing a plastic?

Going to do my first playfield teardown/shop job on this pin soon, so I'm getting a list together of what I need to order...

Thanks for the help.

Mike

P.S. - My other pin is a WhoDunnit, so I guess I have a thing for mid-90s Bally/Williams.

The spot on the ramp is where a clear plastic goes to stop ramp air balls. The connector is also normal. Not sure that it was supposed to be used for but it doesn't connect to anything.

Thanks!

That plug with the wires is a +12v feed. Not sure where it goes either, but it could be related to the soccerball, goalie, or an opto board, if any of those are failing.

Like mentioned in another post - check switch test, and make sure your right cabinet flipper button activated/deactivated TWO switches.

On a related note, can I test the ball motor using a 9v battery?

9 volt battery doesn't have enough power to run motor .You can test soccer ball in test menu it should be in solenoid test
