I have decided to clean and prepare my Locomotion play-field with Novus 1 & 2 so now i need to find a good wax to finish it off

I have read quite a few posts now (including vid1900's) and come to the conclusion that the Blitz wax is one of the best to use.

Can I find it anywhere = No

Anyone got any links as to were to purchase this stuff?

Thanks for the link but the P&P is far to expensive

    Thanks for the link
I know this stuff might be good but...

Is there a cheaper alternative to this as we might not be doing lots of play-fields just our first one and maybe another if we can find a resurrection etc.

So this is how I see us restoring the play-field after reading a lot of posts

    1. Play-field cleared
    2. Hoover
    3. Wash down with mildly soapy water
    4. Novus 1 to remove scratches belmeashes etc
    5. Novus 2 is we have stubborn marks or scratches
    6. Wax play-field
    7. Clear coat it

But thinking about this the Novus 1/2 is not going to remove the clear-coat thatss already on there so should we be doing things differently
BTW the playfield isn't in bad shape but just want to do the right things in the right order

    Quoted from Black_Knight:

Please read the vids guide on cleaning and waxing. There is another one on restoring a pf.

Don’t use water on your Playfield.
Naphtha or Novus 1 will get anything off the Playfield and doesn’t risk it. Even with novus spray it on your rag not on the pf.
Are you clear coating it? You need it clean and no wax on it if you are clearing it.

Yes read those but just couldn't get my head round after using the Novus products it looks like it removes some of the clear-coat so we are assuming that as long as the clear-coat is still intact and we have a nice finish we should stop there.
Ahh I see you only wax on a clear-coat free field and the clear-coat seals it in and hardens the surface up for playing on

    Quoted from Black_Knight:

What game are you working on?
Naphtha on a rag is safe on any pf. Novus 1 on a rag is safe for all but the most fragile pfs.
    Neither will harm clear coat.
Using a scrubber or a magic eraser is what removes the clear coat.
You can use novus 2 on clear coated pfs for tough build up once in a while. Typicallly inlane and outlane ball trails and shooter lane. Finish with novus 1.
    I don’t use novus 3 on pfs.
    Never use water.
You can and should wax any Playfield clear coated or not. The brand isn’t As important as using a good carnuba wax without any cleaners or additives in it.
Clear coating is spraying clear paint on the pf, like the last layer on a car. It must be prepped correctly for that. I’m assuming you are not doing this an just using the wrong terms.

We have a Zaccaria Locomotion (https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/my-first-restoration-zaccaria-locomotion) and the playfield is in pretty good condition just not shiny. Going to clean it with the Novus 1 and remove scratches and light damage with Novus 2, then going to wax with a good carnuba wax (MOTHERS CALIFORNIA GOLD PURE BRAZILIAN CARNAUBA WAX) and this should give us the playfield we are looking for.
