working on shopping out my earthshaker. planning a good cleaning, new rubbers, and waxing. it has mylar on it and i'm in no hurry to take it off due to concerns of it taking off paint and the fact that it's not in too bad of shape. should i just novus 1/2 over the mylar or are there better ways to clean it? also, has anyone waxed mylar and if so, had any problems result for this? (fogging would be my biggest concern)

I use something in Australia call furniture cleaner with bees wax, works a treat i spray on cloth only and not on playfield and polish it in.

Flame treat it.

I have used the treasure cove 3 step kit with an electric drill on my Stargate and it worked really well. I probably could have done a better job but I was a bit nervous using the drill and buffing pads. If you go that route make sure you use painters tape and tape stuff off really well. Those pads spew the compounds all over the place.
