I was thinking about waxing my butter cabinet with Blitz Carnauba. Anyone else do this or something else to give it a bit more shine and help protect it?

I'd check with Spooky on that question. To be sure.

I wiped mine down with some 303 aerospace. Lightly on a microfiber.

Looks like I managed to ask the only question on Pinside that doesn’t have 100 conflicting opinions.

Wax, then a layer of plastic wrap to keep it safe.

And also a layer of wax paper then bubble when not in use.

    LOL!

Seriously though, am I going overboard here? I’m thinking it has a clear coat like a car and cost more than some cars so…

You've already gone overboard with the butter cab...might as well go all the way

I wax with p21s all my cabinets - decals, radcals, butter cab - all of it! Has great UV protection properties. Can’t go wrong.

Its a very good/respected Carnuba (sp) wax.

Any carnauba paste wax is good.

What do you hope the waxing protects it from? Of all the overkill things I’ve seen on here, this has to take the cake. Haha
