No issues with lifting. The playfield was in great shape that is why I decided to go for it. I used the freeze method to take it off. The person I got the machine from had it for almost it's whole life. When I opened it up it still had the factory wood screwed to the sides to lock the playfield in for shipping. It had 20 years of dirt and grime but it cleaned up really well. I also added lights behind the wave ramp and on the side by the shooter lane.
