So I had an amazing looking TZ playfield that I am in process of doing a deep refresh on. I removed old Mylar on the inserts just above the flippers and exactly one insert lost all of its lettering. I should have left well enough alone but wanted the old nasty Mylar off. Lesson learned I guess. What about waterslide decals and how well do they work? Who’s sells or makes them? I need just one decal of the powerball insert above the flippers. I’ve heard bad things about classic arcades and He has the only insert decals I can find. Opinions and suggetions welcome.

Anyone? I’m now thinking of taking the insert out sanding it, setting a waterslide, trimming and then reinserting? Is there an easier way? Seems like with the roughness over the insert edges where the insert lettering came off would not work by just putting one down. I don’t want to sand the edges down without a solid plan.
