Hurricane!
I would love to see this title, dark speaker panel always bugged me.
Thanks for development of a nice MOD that's long overdue.
About Fish Tales...how about a few bubbles being other colors? Or a couple flashing or blinking.

Wow, you've been busy! Kudos to all your hard work. Wish I could go to Expo and meet you guys. Working damn it.
I can't wait to buy a few speaker panel upgrades and mods from you.
Is the website close to opening?
Quoted from notaflyingtoy:Dan is speaking at Pinball Expo 2016 on Friday at 8:30am. I have seen a few pics of these Lighted Pinball Speaker Panels and the other,
Please post pics for those of us that have to work and can't attend Expo.
Oh wow, those pop caps are awesome. I already know how many I'm buying. This thread is costing me money!
Wondering if your going to make the clear acrylic panel for older system 11's like Riverboat gambler, Jokerz etc... that are the dual 16 digit displays? Looking forward to these. Is the website up yet?
Thanks
Quoted from MustangPaul:He will announce when it's up so save this thread as a Favorite.
I'v already saved, Favorited, bookmarked, screen shot, written down by hand, post-it's in every room.
I just keep my computer on all day and refresh screen once an hour!
Quoted from Litedpinballmods:and I will need to track down a riverboat gambler panel.
I have my speaker panel face ready to go. Found it over a year ago and yet to install. I would just need the clear plexi and the lighting.
I think RBG would look great lit up!
Dan. Looking forward to all your great mods. My list is getting long. Thank you for the update and dedication to our sport.
Quoted from Litedpinballmods:Eric, you do know we have a few FT mods also? People love the mosquito
$old, I'll buy it.....!!!!!
$hould I just send you $1000 and deduct my account as you $hip?
Dan- Yup, I was going to email you today to see how these would direct wire into my Addams family. I feel it's very important that these light up in programming with pin. I'm not afraid to solder, I have 3 solder guns all over House for different applications. I was playing Addams last night specifically looking at pop caps to gain a feel for how the plasma caps would look and play. On Addams there off a lot. As you gain graveyard mansion rooms they start to stay on. In multi ball they rev-up one at a time and stay on during that period.
Lifting playfield these are not hard cap wires to get to. It will require some work to get these in including removing ramp for the top one. Always a good time to rubber and bulb and clean too!
Thanks for hearing my requests. Yes please hard wire ideas for these.
5 caps required in different colors, but I wasn't going to color match current colors.
The bad news sounds like good news. Delay worth the wait on pop caps so they work as close to originals as possible.
Took the glass of TAF and looked hard at how these will fit in.....I don't see it happening. The ramp would have to be modified and raised up, a possibility, but also a gamble and they still most likely won't fit. My idea was to lift the ramp up with spacers. Having ramp rest right on top pop caps might not look good.
At $110 each plus shipping for TAF, $550 MOD, this might be double deal breaker. I still might get one for the clear cap, showcases plasma cap in full view.
Update on above post. Just spent another hour in TAF! I'm down to only one tight pop cap, it's red on mine, under the diverted most upper one. I'm showing it so close, but not an 1/2 inch. It's 1/8 inch shy, but lifting ramp by hand I could squeeze it in. Ramp would have to be fully removed for install of pop caps.
Maybe an Addams 5 piece package set?
Quoted from shlockdoc:I am ready for my fish tales deluxe panel
Second, been ready! Just installed the 3D translight. Just need speaker panel. Adding color DMD this weekend, was hoping to make this one tech session, but....been waiting a few months now.
Need that hornet too!!!
That's horrible news. Sorry for lose and setback.
Maybe start to release what you have? Seems like you had a few of these ready at Expo with that picture of speed rack filled. Even back then I requested a few things off the shelf. 70 plus mods available? I'd like that wasp for fish tales please. Websites are very time consuming agreed. But, you have pinside and eBay. Easy place to make listings. We have all been waiting and hungry for your cool products and ideas. For those that are serious, we will be patient. I so feel and catch a tone that others are frustrated with the wait. The candy man has been teasing, holding the candy just high enough so the kids can't grab it.
I make a product as well. I have made a point not to advertise it or inquire about interest. I just have been patiently working on it. Design, concept, licensing, manufacture, production, freight, the list is endless. Pinball has been screaming for years to this playfield part to be made. I'm way over 40k in and probably only at the half way mark. Now I'm not making a boutique part, I making a play field part. I will go live in the spring for one title, one, then onto the next. We all have different business models and I'm really not judging based on my experience. This all takes time.
Good luck in New Year.
Oh, I'd love the lighted effect speaker panel for Fish Tales, I want it now! LOL
Any updates on product release??
You need some cash inflow to deal with your production to date. Love to see this stuff come off the line..
When are these for sale?
This thread is costing me dreams, no money yet!
My list just got bigger.
Lite Fish Tales panel, waiting , will look great with colordmd just installed and 3d translight. Just waiting for this last element.
Yup, patience friends.
These will be amazing as you have seen in some pictures Dan has posted.
Making a MOD, having a life and family, and working a full time job , let's face it, life is busy.
Add, making a MOD for pinheads, trust me, it can put you over the top.
Our machine's will light up eventually.
I wish I could go to Allentown.
I'd love to meet you guys in person.
Looks awesome Dan.
Like me, working on parts in kitchen?
Did you get my pm?
Have a great Allentown show and the reveal of all your amazing stuff!
Quoted from Litedpinballmods:Getting closer.
I can feel it, what a room of beauty.
I see a nice Fish tales there mid pack.
Quoted from Cobra:I have not read all of this thread, so has anyone mentioned the crazy amount of glare this will cause on the glass and how to deal with it without buying PDI glass?
I dont think there is tons of glare. The speaker panel difuses it pretty good. Glare is part of pinball, room lighting, other pins, depends on several factors. But glare, part of life and pinball. Never spiils a game.
Bump for Fish Tales and Addams, Indy.
Thanks for all the hard work and the mods i see coming out are also amazing.
Quoted from MustangPaul:Dan hasn't posted in almost 2 months, I wonder what's going on?
Hes all over ebay with 100 products.
I emailed and got a note about a month ago.
Not sure why he doesnt come by more often to pimp his products. Took a ton of money and time to develop. The speaker panal plastic took forever to make going legit route and getting PPS approved.
