    Quoted from pezpunk:

that's interesting ... i have bought many items from legitimate businesses using cash. including new-in-box pinball machines from licensed distributors.

You are NOT a business. As an individual, paying cash for a pinball is normal. As a business, they said they they don't pay cash for purchases. As a business owner I understand, it becomes an accounting nightmare paying for items in cash because you have to account for where the cash came from and exactly how the cash was used.

    Quoted from KozMckPinball:

Cash to buy or cash to sell the paper trail is the same for a business I would think.

You would be incorrect. It's a pain in the ass for a business to use cash for purchases.

The Pinball Co., Nic, tried to buy 2 machines from me at different times. Both times he was a little late on his offers. But, he was very clear to me on how he worked, how he paid, and how the machine would get picked up. If I hadn't had previous deals in place, I would have 100% dealt and sold them to Nic.

Dung.....sorry....this was not a dirty laundry issue that should have been posted. You 2 could have worked this out "BETTER" among yourselves. I know you told them cash, but when they showed up with a $3000 check, you had to know something was miscommunicated somewhere.

    Quoted from PinballCompany:

Just to be clear, we have not yet received the $300 back and it remains in dispute status with Amex, which indicates that the seller has not agreed to the refund.
