He's been "allegedly" ripping people off because he gets away with it. There haven't been any negative consequences/accountability. Just a steady flow of "free" money. There is no other reason than that. Let's not try and blame his alleged misdeeds on the lottery. If your kids steals a cookie and realizes there are no repercussions he is just going to keep on taking cookies.

Hey Guys, I reached out to the consumer protection division and the Attorney General in NJ. Both have been in contact with me concerning this matter. If you have been cheated by MAD and would like to pursue this with them please PM me and I will tell you what we need to do from there.

    I've also started a thread here: https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/folks-cheated-by-mad-amusements-the-nj-attorney-general-wants-to-hear-from-you

I struck out with the AG, but have a civil attorney in NJ that is interested in taking this on. Please PM me for details.

Why the hell would you come on here and bump this thread knowing what you know? That is beyond low. These folks have lost hundreds to thousands of dollars out of pocket and you think it's fun to come on here and let them know the service was great? WTH is wrong with you?

Next to impossible to get the authorities involved. I had a civil attorney that was interested, but not enough folks came forward for them to do anything about it.

    Quoted from vdojaq:

I assume you haven't been able to get anywhere on this? Authorities could care less?

I have been in contact with local PD, AG, and feds, it's a no go. I have very detailed documentation from a dozen of so victims and couldn't get anywhere.

Given the number of cases it shows a clear pattern of behavior, I believe there is a solid case for wire fraud. It's just a matter of getting the right person to hear the case. The state AG wrote me back to say they received the complaint. At one time I had a civil attorney that I knew willing to try and pursue it, but at that point no one got back to me.

I did everything I could at the time and got nowhere and then I got sick and couldn't really focus on it as much as I wanted to.

    Quoted from John-Floyd:

Thank you! I’ll be fighting this one until it is settled in my favor.

I would send eBay this thread. Let them know the kind of seller they are giving a platform to.

    Quoted from Strummy:

Watch out for this guy too. I ordered a cap kit for a Pinbot sound board. I have the original soundboard and he attacked me by telling me that I didn't. Called me dishonest and all kinds of shit over a 17 dollar kit. Never offered a refund. Another douche. Be careful. Stick with Big Daddy. Daddy haplened to not have it so I tried this guy. 17 dollar loss for me but a bigger loss for him. Never again. Dont waste your time with another dishonest vendor who doesn't stand behind his products.

Wow, that's pretty bizarre. I am sorry you had that exp. Peter is really well regarded in the arcade community. This is definitely not the norm from him.
