I've heard on many titles the blades will just sit in place--so nothing's needed.

Chance of scratching the blades thus eliminated.

Some have stated though it's too much hassle to remove the blades & re-install every time you raise & lower the PF.

But what's that, like about 10 seconds per side?

Difficulty factor seems to be about on par with a PinZero Glare Guard.

Quoted from pinster68:

Brought a roll of this stuff from Pinrestore.com ... looks pretty thin, and better than generic double stick tape:

Downside I see regarding affixing the blades with any kind of tape is the installation then becomes quasi permanent.

Future problem then is removing scratches.

My understanding from Joey is the scratches will buff out.

But if the blades are vertical, getting a buffing wheel in there is going to be a bit of a challenge...might have to pull the PF.

Don't know how the manufacturer recommends buffing out scratches but guessing a compound is used--in which case you've got potential mess inside the cabinet unless using drop cloths/masking...not a huge deal, but worth pointing out.

OP: how DO you recommend buffing out scratches?
