    Warning Warning Warning

Before putting in Pinball Life's F^(king Brites, turn the game off or invest in a pair of Sunglasses. My retna's are now permanently fried.

Holy Shit Terry. I am seeing spots all of the place.

I mean, they are called f$(king brites! Putting a warning on them would be redundant!

    #3 7 years ago

LMAO, very true! On top of that, they are a great price! And totally kick ass in large inserts IMO.

    #4 7 years ago

I love em tried using others on my batman forever but couldnt come close to lighting the widebody like these do

    #5 7 years ago

it's the only bulbs i use ..... cause everything thing else...well...is not f'ing bright enough

    #6 7 years ago

When really bright isn't bright enough. Love those bulbs!

    #7 7 years ago

the price is right too. I have a couple in the spots on my BF.

    #8 7 years ago

I have replaced any and all spotlights with these, doesn't get much better.

    #9 7 years ago

I was messing around and put 2 into the Terminator 2's skull. They actually point directly at your eyeballs. I'm typing this on a braille keyboard.

Would these be good in STTNG for the "transporter light"? The light that flashes when it's about to kick out a ball near the left flipper?

    #12 7 years ago

Carolane stay away from the light!!!!!!!!!

I just put green ablaze4's in the spotlights on RFM, it does looks really nice!

    #14 7 years ago

Hahaa...I pretty much only use these behind backglasses/translites & spotlights...and if the game's on while I'm installing them, I definitely wear sunglasses!! They are BLINDING. Never install these anywhere that will be shining directly at you. Hidden behind stuff ONLY!

This thread was really f^(king useful!

    #17 7 years ago

    F^(k Yea it was.

I put a red one in the tail of the Party Zone Rocket ship and I laugh everytime
the rocket fires up cause it blinds you but I love it
I really like ordering from Pinballife cause I get me order in 2 or 3 days
I use the cheaper ablaze lights which flicker some but I think the flickering sort of adds to
    the ambience
When playing Party Zone in the complete dark the flickering adds a strobing effect and it
seems at times the pinall is in slow motion
If you do not want the flicker buy the non flicker from them

    #19 7 years ago

I put a green one in the diverter indicator lamp on BSD and its perfect.

    #20 7 years ago

I use the yellow ones in the castle spots on my MM. They are f^(king nice! Wally

    #21 7 years ago

YES!!! ordered some a few days ago...South park Kenny insert is gonna rock...hope the color changer i ordered will look good in my LOTR Palantir... gonna convert my spotlights over too...nice

Do you have a picture? What did you install?
I will be doing mine soon.

    #23 7 years ago

OK, tried em and love em! Use them all over the place, anywhere that needs a POP. Nice price too, thanks Terry!

    #24 7 years ago

Used these in the inserts on my old T2 and HS2. Loved em'. Will def use again in the future. Price was right too. However, I'd recommend using CT for any color changing LED's, much brighter than the PBL ones.

    LMAO!!!

I have been putting them in all my pins lately. They are EXACTLY what I was looking for and a very good price. I recently installed 5 extra sockets near the top of my backbox (out of sight) on my Fish Tales and put the blue ones in there. They bounce off the ceiling and put on quite a light show! I absolutely LOVE these things!

I ordered some color changers awhile back and they were the clear lens versions, they work well but when used under clear inserts you will get a halo ring effect when it changes from color to color. I was able to correct the halo by using some fine grit sandpaper and frosting that clear lens, they look 10 times better now.

They don't call them F'n brights for nothing. Shades may be necessary

    #28 7 years ago

I stopped buying the cheapy ablaze-1's (they're fussy, and not always so bright).. Started buying the ablaze-3's, and those are bright enough, I can't imagine the 4's (or 9's)

They have uses. The F&*cking Brites are WAY overkill (distractingly blinding) in white inserts, as I learned in my PinBot (Pluto, Drops, etc), but the cheapo Ablaze-1's are perfect and very affordable.

There is a place for these. I have an insert (the ferris wheel insert in Hurricane) that is near the far back of the playfield and is very large. The bulb is mounted quite far underneath the insert in order to get appropriate light spread. I found that even the 3-LED bulb was insufficient. The 4-LED was perfect.
