Wow, what a day. I answered a Craigslist ad for a single pin which turned out to be a local operator who stopped doing pins many years ago. He decided to sell his storage and I bought these at VERY good prices: DE Star Wars, T2, Congo, & Star Trek TNG

I had to move fast and didn’t power up onsite except for star wars which was popping fuses. I reseated cables at home on it and it fired up. The others also fired up well accept T2 which looks to need possible board work. I plan to work them one at a time and do repairs with complete tear downs. I wasn't planning for this but what the heck

It was surreal like one of those pickers shows. The seller was a nice guy and he told me he was planning on fixing them one by one to sell. The craigs ad was for the first one he had ready. I wasn't interested in that one but wanted to meet a local pinhead which is how I got there. I initially went after DESW and he said lets look at it. Powered it up and it pops a fuse. He looks at me and says I don't know when it would be ready. I assured him I could fix anything on it and we talked shop quite a bit. Then he says make me an offer which I did, he pauses and excuses himself, then came back into the room and said how about $100 more. I didn't hesitate, sure. We chat for a bit more and load up then I'm on my way.

I got home and fiddled around with Star Wars. Then I email the seller thanking him again and said please give me first crack at STTNG, T2, and Congo. Much to my surprise I get an email back in 30 minutes with prices saying some guy offered me this for all three. If you take them all they are yours. My wife will tell you I was dancing around like a little kid screeching lol. I think getting him to part with the first one snow balled the second sale like on those TV shows. And it was TEN MILES from my house. Truly unbelievable day.

Lol they are temporarily sitting in the family room and my other pins are in the living room. My wife deserves a medal. Good news is my addition is finishing up this week around Wednesday. I have a thread here on pinside documenting it. I can't believe I have the room filled on opening day!
