I was in the Pinball Hall of Fame Sunday night and a guy introduced himself to me. He is a purchasing manager for a large corporation that used to have a casino game room. The people running it didn't have many skills to keep the stuff running and the whole thing failed. All the equipment was pulled and put into storage a few years ago. Now they are looking to use the space they are storing the machines in for something else and they gave him the job of cleaning out the games and thousands of casino chairs, laundry equipment, food service stuff and bedding.
I got on my horse and drove to a remote location 60 miles from Las Vegas and had a look today. NO PINBALLS, but lots of video. games and redemption. It has all been stored for a number of years inside in climate control, but is COVERED in dust. The mechanic was really bad and many things are hanging off some machines, while others look like they were just unplugged and put away. The guy knows NOTHING about games, but he does know that this stuff is too old to be new, but too new to be old. (This is the perfect time for collectors to buy stuff, BEFORE it becomes collectible). All he is interested in doing is selling it for what ever it is worth or less. He said he want an offer on it ALL and if no offers are forthcoming he will consider selling it ala carte.
I have no use for any of it EXCEPT 2 of the Crusin Exoticas and a strange arcade piece "Ticket Shack" that is a 25 cent version of a nickel flip.
I told him I would try and get somebody to buy this stuff. I am NOT acting as an agent on this deal. You will call and deal direct with him. I make NOTHING off the seller or the buyer, all I want are the 3 machines on my list. I also have ANOTHER Rowe change machine I have no use for that I will throw in on the deal to help on parts for the 3 change machines.
Here's how it will work. For the first 2 weeks, he wants offers for it ALL. If you want the batch, email me at [email protected]. I will give you his cell number. You can work out a deal with him. He is NOT expecting a lot. If you make a deal, drop off my 3 in Vegas on the way out and pick up the other change machine. he is busy with a LOT of other details and can't send pictures, but even if he did, there are no lights in this part of the building, only a little coming in thru windows and there is dessert dust covering everything. I made a quick list that includes ALL the equipment there, and a little if I jotted it down on my notes about missing parts or complete game.
I know this is a pinball forum, but many collectors want arcade stuff as well. There are also a lot of valuable game specific controls, optic guns, shifters, monitors, and door parts. I think but I am not sure the whole thing will fit into a 26 foot truck. There is NO dock height in the building, but there is a gentle ramp to the outside near where the stuff is stored. You will need a lift gate or a ramp. There might be parts there as well, he doesn't care about those if you find them.
Time frame is to seal a deal in 2 weeks and pick up SOON after. They must have the building cleared by the end of the year, but he has a LOT of stuff to sell and refuses to let it come down to the wire.

Interesting find Mr Arnold, thanks for posting it.
This is probably the best place to put it on the KLOV forums: https://forums.arcade-museum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=38

I second a recommendation to post on KLOV. Might as well put an ad on pinside too.
