Item description

I have a Swords of Fury and was considering sending the PF to be touched up and cleared. I wanted to check around to see if anyone already had one done and FS.

OR....you could just sell me that machine and not have to worry about it.
Just trying to help !

#3 8 years ago

I could do that, but wouldn't you like one with a nice cleared PF that plays really fast?

#4 8 years ago

It's a system 11; life before diamondplate was rough, but I vote for just play it and enjoy it. Not every game needs to be restored to "better than new"

I thought that one covered with mylar and really not that bad? Anyway, the time you spend waiting for a new playfield is time that could be better spent defeating the balrog or freeing some titans...

#5 8 years ago

There is mylar on the lower half. The top half has a couple of spots with some wear to the wood. Wax will be ok, but I think I would rather clear it. That being said it is often cheaper to buy one already done than sending one out to be done so I thought I would check. I'm grabbing some new ramps for it so I thought now would be a good time to strip and shop, etc.

What color ramps are you going with? Just curious. After much internal debate, I'm going clear, that way I can change the way it looks. Wait until you see the ramps in person, they are nice. I'm also looking at one of those playfield protector things sold by BAA.

Hmmm....a nerdy girl with a SOF.
Like Eddie Money said,...I think I'm in love !

I'm going clear with clear. I wanted to stay traditional and go black, but it just makes the game so much darker.

Gyros it's amazing how much more popular I got once I picked up this SoF. Everybody wants to be my friend.
