I have fully working Pinbot Soundboard for sale.

Two FYIs...
1. Your old sound board is entirely repairable. I can help with that.
2. The D-11581 sound board is interchangeable with the board you noted.

I came across a D-11581-554. It appears to be fully populated other than no W2 & W3 jumpers. It currently has F14-Tomcat chips in it. Is it as simple as removing the F14 chips and programming a chip to place into the U4 location for Pinbot?

Thank You for the help

LOL I think I am sending duplicate messages.

I appreciate your help Chris. Do you know what model chip it is for Pinbot? It's my understanding that it is not the same as the current F14 Tomcat chips because Pinbot only uses 1.

Music EPROMs (U4 and U19) on the sound board. Usually it's only U4. U19 is usually absent.

wombat Do you happen to know why U19 is sometimes missing?
It seems odd to me that a U19 would exist but not do anything.

I was hoping you would know!

Pin*Bot uses U4 and U19, but not U20. The differences between games is based on the complexity of the tunes, their duration and how many different tunes were used. U19 would not be populated unless it was needed. The material costs were closely monitored and Williams would not have used U19 (and 20) unless a particular game's music requirements justified the additional space.

Mthomasslo Yes. I would have thought that too.
But U19 doesn't add anything to the sounds. Installed or not, it doesn't change a thing.
I hear what you are saying. It's confusing.
