    Tuesday night bump

    #3 6 days ago

Good luck! I had to really dig deep to find mine. I got super lucky with a project one that had all the stuff needed to make a nice machine but it ended up taking me about 3 months to find one close enough and for a price better than I can ever hope to find again.

Hey thanks! Yeah, I passed on one locally early this year and am kicking myself for it. I can obviously be patient but figured putting a feeler post out wouldn't hurt.

Yup not a game you see for sale very often. It was a grail game for me and I luckily found mine before things got too insane. Great game. Good luck with your search.

    Tuesday night bump

That’s what I did. I bumped often, searched the pin map and finally someone answered my call and sent me a message on here with an offer I couldn’t refuse. Told me he had two, one was fully functioning, but the playfield had some insert wear. The other one was broken down in boxes and buckets that he had started a playfield swap on but didn’t think he’d end up finishing. I chose the one in pieces as it was slightly cheaper than the completed one and the playfield, when finished (a lightly used original that had been clear coated), would look significantly nicer than the already completed one. Here’s a before and after. I could definitely benefit from some new ramps, but massive difference already. 589213A9-4F44-44F1-AA39-89293E8EBAFD (resized).jpeg

Thanks, looking to deal a bit more locally if possible!

Case of the Mondays bump. Who'se got a Whirlwind in California?

    #12 1 hour ago

Good luck! It’s a grail pin for me. I would like to find a good condition or better cabinet and playfield (minimal dings and little to no playfield wear) Whirlwind at some point. I know it will probably take me a while to find one that meets this criteria. Don’t really need one with a bunch of fancy mods since I don’t find value in paying extra for it. Like to get a nice Whirlwind for $5k or less. For now, I’m stuck playing the virtual version on The Pinball Arcade.
