Hello Pinsiders,

My son, who is 12, has been showing real interest in learning about pinball and how the games work. I have been including him on some of the minor repairs and parts of our existing games and the idea come up of working on a game together. After looking at some titles he really wants to work on a Twilight Zone (of course). We have watched the marathons together on TV and ridden the Tower of Terror at Disney so the draw is the theme. So I began what I know to be a foolish quest…build a TZ from the ground up.

Thanks to pinsider “ulmpharmd” and eBay we have a start including both playfields, some ball guides, a couple diverters, MPU (which we repaired), DMD, power ball, and a few other parts. And while this will probably end up a “car on blocks in the front yard” I am really enjoying the time working on it and sharing the passion (or is it sickness).

So I am reaching out to see if any pinsiders have any spare/old TZ parts they are looking to offload. If so please PM me with what you have and what you are asking. At this point we are still looking for a wide range of parts including:

Transformer, power junction box, backbox boards (except MPU), clock parts, gumball machine, some ball guides (A-16796, A-16794), ramps, lamp boards, flippers, ball popper assembly, bridge diverter, right diverter, Shooter Gate Assembly (a-16433), wood rails, etc.

I understand it is a fools quest but if even on a table I can make the machine light up and a flipper flip I think the learning and time together will be well spent.
