Not only will I pay $20,000, I will also throw in all the Beanie Babies I own!

So what if I own none of those, $20,000 should still be enough to start your own collection.

So, there is one Supreme that was said to have exchanged hands for $35,000. But none of those that are asking up to $80,000 are willing to accept what I believe is the next best offer.

So far my attempt to pry one away has failed miserably.

I guess what we have here is maybe the most valuable and collectible pinball machine of all time, and perhaps a cheap bastard like me getting one isn't meant to be.

Thanks LTG!

If it doesn't happen, I won't be overly disappointed. As the youngest brother in my family I learned to make do with hand me downs and found out you don't always quite get what you want.

Maybe some will sell you their Supreme box for $20k, I hear those are collectable too!!

Quoted from o-din:

Hardest part about a remodel is picking things out. I'm not sure I'd ever like to spend so many hours looking at and getting educated on toilets again. But in the end the Kohler Wellworth won out.

I've missed the conversation for a couple days. . . can you even get a decent toiled that is not "low flow" these days? I'd think that originals from the 50's would be like five gallons per flush. One of my favorite Married with Children episodes was when Al acquired his Ferguson Toilet.

pasted_image (resized).pngpasted_image (resized).png

"Bud, the toilets of today aren't worthy of the name. They come in designer colors and they're too low. And when you flush them, they make this little weak, almost apologetic sound. Not the Ferguson. It only comes in white. And when you flush it, 'BA-WOOSH'. That's a man's flush, Bud. A Ferguson says, 'I'm a toilet. Sit down and give me your best shot'."

Sorry for the deviation, may your quest for pinball Supreme one day bear fruit. . .

That Kohler I bought works really well. The only problem I see is they do not have the traditional float ball like they used to. The new style they all seem to use now occasional gets stuck open due to a build up of calcium and other mineral deposits.

Yep, Ballcocks seem to be a thing of the past in the modern age.

Didn't try looking up any web pictures for that one. . . not sure what I would get!

Would a bathroom remodel be too practical vs the pin?

That's about what it's coming to.

As I am finding out Supreme pinball machine owners are the most proud and enthusiastic pinball machine collectors I have ever come across. And they don't want to part with their treasures.

I think that you could replace your comment with the following:
"As I am finding out Supreme owners are the most proud and enthusiastic collectors I have ever come across. And they don't want to part with their treasures."

btw, do their treasures include the supreme logo'ed toilet brush and kleenex cozies?

I hate to admit it but those Supreme towels are pretty dope.

You do have a point. But I'll use my own words.

They are not just the most proud and enthusiastic collectors of any pinball machine I have come across, but also the most proud and enthusiastic collectors of any brand or theme I have come across.

They'd look great draped over the Supreme pin to keep the dust off the glass.

#221 5 years ago

Not too late to get in on a knock off . If a pinball machine void of any artwork pleases you , it can happen for a somewhat reasonable price tag .

Monday price drop!

No price drops coming, most supreme accessories gain value over time.

Fw18 preview dropped today, perhaps something in there will tide you over.

Sure but one of these guys is bound to figure out how many smaller Supreme accessories, including new items and things he can take with him and show off in public, one Supreme pinball machine can buy.

Way to play hardball o-din. I like it. The longer these Supreme owners hold out, the more money you take off the table. $10,000 by Christmas?

I'm rooting for you. You make this forum a special place, you deserve to get your way once in awhile. While I don't understand the fascination with Supreme, they do have a loyal or rabid (probably a better word) fan base of collectors, which I only found out about when the pin was announced. It's nice to have something to strive for. I want to get or create a collectors example of Quicksilver, which isn't the easiest thing to find or do, eventually. That is my dream, go get your dream.

So far the gofundme to get us each one and have a party hasn't raised a single dime. I really thought the party would push it over the edge.

Sorry O-din

I love the general artwork of this one, the cabinet in particular
The playfield sobriety is also great.

I bet if each of us donated $20,000 to the cause that would at least get us halfway to our goal.

I had a chance to watch that video that Erak posted in it's entirety today, and they made a few good points. Not just Supreme, but in 15-20 years who is going to buy all the new games that are flooding the market today, and where will there be a place to put them?

And certainly in most cases they won't be able to get anywhere what they cost new as owners tire of them, the games get passe, and any new blood is more interested in cultural themes they can relate to.

Certainly they are not getting thrown out or parted out like they used to leaving only a limited supply of each title. And warehouse and storage unit hoarding seems to becoming more and more a thing of the past.

We are already seeing the marketplace flooded with recent titles being sold secondhand and that is a trend that doesn't look to be ending anytime soon.

One of the guys said he's been into pinball since the mid 2000s though, so he may have a lot more insite than a large percentage here.

Easy enough to do if you avoid the cliques and hierarchies that have emerged over the last 5 years whilst still maintaining a proximity to the core hobby itself.

Works very well if your objective is the successful takeup of the pinball hobby to successive generations.

The positive of being involved in the hobby for a quarter of a century is having a frame of reference of how things were.

I'm really surprised pinside hasn't stepped up yet. There are usually so generous. It's not like we've got some minor problem like a flooded basement or anything.

I’d only donate if you you were going to burn the machine after the party . Really ,the only reason to own one of these is to prove you have some money to to burn so let’s burn something (otherwise it’s pointless)

Wouldn't bother me to be honest but it would be a fair bet that a few members of the purple circle down here might get their noses out of joint. They've even got the matching attire.
