Looking to buy a Stargate. Will drive 4 hours from Madison/Milwuakee Wisconsin area. I'd pay extra $ for a really super nice example. Message me on pinside if you are looking to sell. It was one of my favorite tv shows. Thanks!

how much did you sell yours for?

I wonder if you can just go try to buy it back from current owner? maybe add a few hundred?

good luck

I didn't keep their contact info.

I want to find one with a little less clearcoat cracking this time around. I know they will all have it to some extent, all Stargates do. But some are worse than others. An HUO Stargate popped up a few months back, I think it was on craigslist. I got pictures of it and it did have some of the cracking of the clearcoat, but it wasn't as bad as most I've seen. I should of jumped on that one. I think one will turn up again eventually.

I sold it for $2,400. Mine was a pretty good one overall but did have a high amount of plays on it. We were building a $3,000 shed at the time (early this summer) and I figured I'd sell my Stargate to fund it. What a mistake

Yea, I saw that one. They painted the ramps and wireforms black which don't look good. Also the pyramid is not original. I'm trying to hold out for a nicer example this time, even if I have to pay extra. I paid extra for an HUO STTNG and NBA Fastbreak, to me it's worth it. The Stargate doesn't need to be HUO, but that would be nice!

What kind of stargate would entail a 3k price tag?

HUO or extremely clean, low plays.
