Quoted from embryonjohn:

Here's my peeve about the drop targets. as I'm knocking down the drops it'll go into tilt, go dark and end that ball and its scoring. It'll happen in one game out of 50. What's the most likely culprit?

I just got a Sorcerer and mine does this as well! I have removed or taped the tilt stuff (plum bob and door thingy)...would love to know what else to try. Mine does it one out 20 games or so, and it seems to happen when I am really kicking ass on a ball...maybe there IS an actual Sorcerer lurking inside my game?

My Sorcerer has started "phantom tilting" again! I was kicking its ass last night and it tilted for no reason. This was discussed earlier up thread and I was wondering if anyone has found a solution as to how I can fix this problem...anyone?

If you rule out mechanical issues, here's how I tackled my first switch matrix issue:

It wasn't as daunting as I'd feared.

wow! Thanks for that...but it looks pretty daunting to me! I hope to get some help locally to try and fix this, and I really appreciate you steering me in the right direction...I will post my results at some point...

Quoted from wizard_mode:

I actually rexrilled my front legs to get her nice and steep. Also, angle flippers down a little to make hard to gain control of ball. Everyone complains that the sorcerer is "brutal" at my place. lol

what is "rexrilled"?
Why not just put blocks under back legs to increase angle?

Quoted from fanuminski:

WTB here! I recently picked up the game in the process of PF cleaning/shopping I noticed
"Damn! I'm missing that ball canopy over the trapped ball area at the right! "
Wizard_mode was very kind to supply me with detailed pics and measurements (Thanks again Tim!) -
but after seeing the forming that needs to be done, thought I'd just ask here if
anyone may have a spare (from a parts PF) that they would part with.
(I would try to contact the previous owner to see if he had it laying around, but I'd
need a Medium to contact him at this time - game was from an estate sale )
thanks,
M

looks like the piece is there...what extra piece are you referring to?

does it play sounds in sound test mode?

Mine does not say all the words in test mode either, and I read that that is normal...
At least you know it makes sound, so the problem lies elsewhere...
Someone with more knowledge will chime in I'm sure...
