Quoted from fosaisu:

I wonder if that’s a silkscreened playfield, or CPR’s new “direct print” version (I think those were supposed to ship first).

It's not a CPR Playfield....if you read the description in the ad it says:
"Sorcerer has a new clear coated playfield made by John Greatwich who describes the process he uses to make them online"

Quoted from topkat:

When these repro pf are made do they have a template they lay on the pf for all the holes?

Keep in mind that ALL Original playfields were drilled by Hand, And, due to the large runs they were made by multiple manufacturers (ie: suncoast, tag, etc).
So the real issue is that Every original, since drilled by hand, is Different. When CPR does a playfield they use a "used", stripped playfield and create a CAD File because every board is cut on a CNC machine. Thus making every single board exactly the same. The down side to this is that by using a "used" playfield to develop the CAD File there are always chances that some idiot made additional holes for one reason or another, or even Moved holes because it got to reamed out over the years, etc, no one really knows what operators did back in the day just to keep the games working and the quarters dropping. So since Mike receives a "used" playfield stripped of everything he really has nothing to look back on other than images on the IPDB or google searches, which he does all the time. However, that too can be cumbersome as most of the photos on the internet are "beauty" pics NOT Production pics showing everything.
