The centre hand plastic from wizard mode is perfect. It looks amazing. Cheers wizard!
The target decals from actionpinball are excellent as well.
Man, Sorcerer's gotta be my fav pin.
Not sure if this was mentioned before, but CPR now has a sign up list for interest in Sorcerer playfields.
Not a pre-order list, just a who is interested list.
Go sign up if you would really buy one, and hopefully they get made.
Echoing RCA in post #906
CPR appears to have a new wish list for boutique runs where the art is already in house. One of the playfields you can vote for production is...Sorcerer!
Please make sure you cast your vote so we can get this title in the queue.
Note, CPR makes it clear that there are no guarantees these will be produced, but want to measure interest. Enough interest = probable production.

Do it!
I want to give a special shout out to Pinsider Jodester who came over last night and solved my longstanding drop target issue with my Sorcerer. Thanks Jodester!!!

I want to thanks Jodester too. We played four games on Sorcerer today and it works 100% now.

Let's get this done!
I need a bumper switch for my Sorcerer. The manual says B-8316 is the assembly part number but I cannot find this referenced on any sites. Pinball life has basically 2 styles (SW-11A-35 or SW-11A-37). It looks like one has 2 switches and the other has 1. I think the Sorcerer needs the one with 2 switches but I am at work and cannot confirm. If anybody sees this can you please confirm which switch I need to order? Thanks...

Is the switch bad or could you get by with just ordering a new spoon?
Quoted from KloggMonkey:Is the switch bad or could you get by with just ordering a new spoon?
I replaced the spoons when I rebuilt all the bumpers a few months back. I ordered 3 of these from pinball life. http://www.pinballlife.com/index.php?p=product&id=339
Those look like they are pretty close, measure your old ones to see that the spacing and height of the switch stacks match. Then you should be good to go, good luck with the repair.
In investigating a surplus of air balls, I've discovered that my coils are off-spec. Specifically, here's what I've got:
- lower coils are both 090-5018-00 23-800/30-2600 (definitely look like they've been replaced at some point)
- upper coil is FL 24-600/30-2600 50v (looks like it's been there a while, probably original)
My questions:
- Should I replace with FL 23-600/30-2600 as called for in the manual? Or is there an "upgrade" of some kind I'd be better off with?
- Do I need to replace the upper coil (i.e. how close is 23-600 to 24-600)?

It's a good idea to get rid of serial coils when they need to be replaced and go with Parallel
Same strength replacement upgrades:
FL24/600-30/2600 Series wound = FL11722 Parallel
FL23/600-30/2600 Series wound = FL11630 Parallel
I'm trying to make a replacement for this missing ball guide, which is unfortunately permanently out of stock at Marco:

Does anyone know the thickness of the wire used in this ball guide? Would be very helpful to know!

Quoted from mab487:Anyone know where I can find this missing "wire ball guide" that prevents the ball from rolling back down the shooter lane?
You can probably bend one yourself from appropriately-sized metal rod, and just crimp the ends closed on the axis, assuming you still have the axis in your machine.

Thanks, KloggMonkey. The manual shows it as part # 12-6644 so I wasn't sure if that was the correct part?

Yeah the B-10922-2 is for the whole assembly, where 12-6644 is just the wire part of it.

Just made these custom apron cards
Upload failed. Did not get upload ID.
I guess PDFs fail as attachments.

EDIT: I tweaked this a little while I had a few minutes of free time today.
Quoted from Geocab:Nice! This is my only pin that I don't have custom cards for. Look good!
Thanks. I just wanted something a little higher quality (dpi) than what was out there. These aren't great by any means, just a quick rendering, but nicer than white paper.
I'm out of ideas on this one and haven't been able to find anyone else having a ball getting hung up as shown. I've moved the top guide up / down / sideways with no change in behavior. Plastic is a little saggy, but nothing that seems out of line. Maybe the wires the ball rides on aren't up high enough? Any help would be appreciated on this, as it seems to get hung up there every other game or so. Thanks.

Make sure the ends of these rails (that the ball rides on when exiting the top of the ramp) are fully seated into the playfield and that the nuts are tight on the bottom of the playfield. The area I am referring to would be to the right in this picture but I cannot see the ends of the rails to determine if they appear unseated...

Alright, cranked them down, and I can get the ball to rest there if I place it by hand *just right*, but it seems to have taken care of it for the most part. Great advice, thank you!
Question re: the ball eject for multi-ball. From looking at the PAPA gameplay video, it appears that after you lock the second ball, the balls should be predictably ejected onto the same spot on the upper flipper. Mine kind of "dribble" out and are less predictable, it may bounce over to the tip of the upper flipper, or may roll down through the gap to the lower portion of the playfield with no chance to touch it with the flipper.
Is there something obvious I can adjust? Is this more likely to be an underpowered kicker mechanism (the balls always eject successfully, at least) or do I need to adjust the lane/gate somehow? It's not obvious to me watching it operate precisely what's causing the problem.

New Coil sleeve & stop and a drop or two of lubricant on the metal on metal parts for the kicker should do it. It probably has a lot of slop in it currently, so you're loosing power.

When you slide the coil plunger manually relative to the coil on the kickout mechanism, do you feel any friction, sticking, etc? Does it move freely? You might just need to replace the coil sleeve but check all the pivot points on the linkage too.
My multiball eject is predictable, it hits just inside the tip of the upper flipper. I'll have to check out the PAPA videos and see what theirs does.
The swing gate could be lubed, like you would a spinner. As well as the metal on metal points of the eject cam, as others have pointed out. If you eliminate all slop in the mech and everything is tight, (providing the coil circuit is normal) the next step for more power would be removing winding from the coil. BUT I would do that as a last effort.
Thanks for the quick responses. If I'm looking to replace the sleeve and stop, how do I figure out the correct part numbers? I think I found the kicker mechanism on pg. 5-1 of the Blue Parts Catalog, but cannot figure out the part nos. for the coil sleeve or coil stop. Also, is the correct coil listed anywhere in the catalog or manual? Cannot seem to find it!

coil 3 as highlighted. This part number will lead you to the correct sleeve too... http://www.pinballlife.com/index.php?p=product&id=1555
This link references a 1-3/4" standard coil sleeve for this coil. Not sure about the coil stop though. Cannot picture it... http://www.actionpinball.com/parts.php?item=SG1-23-850-DC
