I am missing the wire that connects to the 'frame' that prevents the ball from falling back into the launch lane.

Williams part # 12-6911. No one seems to have these.
Since you have the frame, it should be pretty easy to fabricate one.
I use old bicycle spokes to make mine.

EDIT: D'oh, just saw that it's out of stock at Pinbits. Sorry! Someone else has to have it though.
If you get impatient waiting for the shipment I had made a temporary one out of a binder clip
