Quoted from Charlemagne1987:

No. Paulie smashed it with a whisky bottle. Sorry, couldn't resist. You had to know somebody would post that. Anyway, good luck. Hard piece to find. Great American Pinball is currently selling a complete Rocky for $5,500. That seems like a great deal. I'd buy it, but I already have a Rocky.

So how does rocky play? This is one of my favorite movie franchises of all time and really want one for my collection. Just hard to find and pay a premium for if it really isn't that fun.

It's one of my favorite franchises too. That's why I bought the game. I think it's a game indicative of the era in which it was created. I have modern games that are fast and fun. Rocky definitely is not fast. It's also fairly straightforward and simple. The objective is to hit the round targets in order to "win the fight". But it is fun if you take it for what it is. I also like the automated "Ha, ha, ha, you lose." call out that comes when you fail to hit the targets. I keep it for sentimental reasons, would never sell it, and play it every now and then. It's cool to look at amidst my other games and it's rarity makes it a nice collector's piece. If you have the money and love Rocky I would recommend buying it. I don't know if this is true, but I heard that of the 1504 units that were made in 1982 only around 100 fully working machines are still in existence.

Thanks for the reply. I am jealous, I knew they were fairly rare and have not come across one yet. Rocky is definitely one of my favorite movies, I have quite a few of the Mondo rocky posters for my basement and named my daughter Adrienne, my wife wouldn't let me have the Adrian spelling. I have still yet to play this one, maybe if I am ever in florida I'll hit you up.

Bgr will make you a translite, not a true backglass for Rocky.

Is this a pinside User or a company that has a website? I would be interested in a Rocky translite for a lit Frame.
