I sold the last Paragon I had for $1500 three years ago. The playfield was very nice, almost no wear at all around the inserts that were sunken like most of them have, and the original backglass was very nice as well, just barely starting to get some paint lifting in a corner. The cabinet had some scrapes and was faded real bad all over, not much color to it at all. If the cabinet colors were bright and wasn't dinged up I could've got $2000 easy. shimoda's right about gameplay. Waxed with new ringset they can be brutal to play.
You got to have patience when your looking for a specific game that you want. You got a thread here, did you post on RGP,Craigslist,? Have you said what your willing to pay for a real nice one that needs nothing? Shop out one of your games or work on a project while your waiting. Bump your thread every other day, people will see it.
