Im looking for the original moving dalek kit to enhance my game.

Not interested in the new servo actuated ones.

Let me know if you have one for sale, or if I can borrow/rent it to copy it.

If I make copies, I will certainly offer them to the community.

Quoted from LTG:

It wasn't. pinballinreno probably knows that.
Someone made a really great kit years ago. If one pops up on Ebay or something it is usually huge money. There is a cheaper kit floating around, not sure the good or bad about it.
LTG : )

Yep, im looking for an original Al Warner/basement arcade kit with the gearbox and motor.

Its the best one.

Marco still has some motor assemblies. A partial kit might be ok.

PC boards are cheap and easy to get these days as well as machined parts.

I want to either install it or copy it.

With the rising cost of games in general, this type of mod is back in fashion.

I think a lot of people want it.

The software supports it.

It makes the game complete.

Similar to the animated tiger saw on ToM.

Maybe i just need the blueprints and the pc board cad drawing?

I would certainly pay royalties or give credit to the originators.

The newer kit ties into the flashers

The older one ties into the game logic/software and is a part of the game.

The game was designed for it.

Quoted from Rdoyle1978:

The newer kit is just a tiny board and a plastic RC car server. You have to make your own mount and line it up, and it is prone to breaking down, the board itself gets SUPER hot and will wear itself out. It has lights, but does not really tie into the game software other than being activated by a flasher. It does do this pulsing thing with the LED kit it comes with, which is actually very cool.
The basement arcade kit was basically a copy of the original Williams mech; all metal, much more powerful metal motor, and like he said - ties into the game software.

Since Matt gave it to the world to use as they see fit via his website, Im going to make a few copies.

Matt is still making this unit.
