Still looking for Lasercue

Can't blame you for wanting another, one of my first machines and i miss mine also. Laser Cue is a fast & fun pin for sure. There was a nice one for sale on here about 6 months ago somewhere in New York.

I have a Laser Cue, picked it up in Phoenix. You don’t think it could be... NAH!

It is in nice shape but it isn’t working. I have put Titan Competition Rings on it.

Here are a few pics to get you started:

I’m open to working something out with you.

More on my Laser Cue:

Boards have been reworked:

DSCF0011 (resized).JPG

  • All electrolytic caps have been replaced.

  • 5101 NVRAM added

  • The 8 TIP42 lamp matrix transistors replaced with IRF9Z34N MOSFETs and associated resistors removed

  • Power supply high voltage section rebuilt with suggested mods

  • DSCF0020 (resized).JPG
  • Power supply bridge rectifier replaced

  • 40 pin female connectors replaced

  • If any IC sockets were bad, they were replaced

  • Burned GI power connector replaced with original style connector

  • DSCF3194 (resized).JPG
GI Power Supply Connector System 7 (resized).jpg
  • Bridge rectifiers have been fused with 8A Slo Blo fuses

  • DSCF3312 (resized).JPG
  • Boards labeled - fuses and rework done

    • DSCF3314 (resized).JPG

I had Laser Cue working until a freak accident occurred. A piece of solder wire shorted the plumb bob tilt to something on the coin door. I expect the 6821 switch PIA to be toast and possibly more.

Laser Cue backglass. This has been clear coated. The clear coat on the score windows has mostly been removed.

I have a really nice Laser Cue but it would take a lot for me to sell or trade it. Plus you are probably too far from me. It's a great game. Hope you find a nice example.

Love my laser cue! Wish I could help you out, but it's not going anywhere

I may have a lead on one. Fingers crossed

Such a great pin. I picked mine up 2 weeks ago, but I only got to play it for 1 day before leaving on month-long business trip. It’ll be like Christmas when I get home.

Yes it’s a great game. I traded mine like an idiot. Not letting the next one go

Not sure if you've already looked into this, but a Laser Cue popped up on the Craigslist thread here. Another pinsider checked it out and says the pf and cab are planking quite a bit and game doesn't work. Anyways, here's the link:

I actually have a game shipping to me right now. Has a new backglass and a NOS playfield along with the game. I thought of retheming it but with the new parts I’m going to restore this one. The art is so bad it’s good. I may find another junker down the line to retheme.

I think the art quality is great. It’s just not a theme that appeals to everyone. Congrats on landing one!

I dig the game as a whole. I never thought I would. Such a sleeper game. Well executed shots
