Couple of interesting offers but haven't pulled the trigger on anything yet. Still looking

#9 8 years ago

What no Krull?

#10 8 years ago

Or no Rat Race either?

#11 8 years ago

Already have a Krull locked up and have an offer on a rat race I'm considering

Kingpin is a Capcom title. AFAIK PPS has no rights to Capcom properties.

He bought Illinois Pinball - so he does own the Capcom Pinball IP.

I don't think it's actually that simple, at least from what I've heard. But I have second hand knowledge, nothing direct.

You have a Krull locked up, wow...

I consider that at the very top of grail pins. I know someone that claims to have played one in a mall arcade when it was new in Massachusetts, imagine that. I'm 99.9% sure it's the same one that was ''found'' several years ago along with several other rare games in a neglected home collection here is Mass.
Some of the other rare games in that collection? Oh, Loch ness...

#17 8 years ago

As soon as PPS is done making MMr's / AFMr's / MBr's, I'm pretty sure KP"r" is not too far out once they just figure out how to emulate the Capcom system (like they did to current WPC/95 system to make MMr).

#18 8 years ago

Is Krull going to your place? I'd love to finally play one.

Entirely possible as the collection that has Loch Ness also has Krull.

We are so spoiled here in Southern California - being able to play Krull, Loch Ness, Wizard Blocks, Playboy PIN2K, Zingy Bingy, King Kong, BBB, POTO (with bose sound), There there are all the prototype games... man the list goes on and on

Yes, I must say I 100% agree with this. Also, when TJ brings Kingpin out to PAGG or CAX it's always a nice treat

Isnt Goin Nut just NGG with different cab art or is that another game entirely?

Goin' Nuts is different than NGG. Really really different.

LOL, yup, you got that right!

There has to be someone out there who owns some of these titles collecting dust in a basement....

Speaking of which...

There is approximately 0.000001% chance that this is legit (No there's not.), but there's actually a location here in St. Paul that lists a King Kong on their sales page.

Same picture shows up here - five years ago.

It will be a wasted phone call, but there you go.

Those pictures were taken at Chicago's Expo about 10 years ago, back when it was at the Ramada. The KK was owned by Mike Pacak at the time, along with that prototype Tommy and Aaron Spelling game.
