Hey, thanks for the info. I saw it. It's the one that sold real cheap on ebay and the guy is trying to flip for $4500, came down to $3000. I offered $2k max as it
needs a playfield swap. He's not responding so I passed.

That one was pulled from ebay and sold offline (I think for 3k+ based on what I heard). Pretty sure you are never going to find even a project Fathom for under 3k... sorry but those evaporated a while ago. I would not expect him to even respond at a 2k offer either and honestly if that is where you think the market is on any Fathom then I dont think you are in the range of reality and probably in for a very long hunt.

With patience we all get lucky sometimes.

Yeah, but at $3k you'll need a playfield, all new posts, rubbers, Led's and a ton of time or money to do the playfield swap. Time/Cost value is lost. You can pick
up a decent fathom for $4k - $4500 with an original playfield working needing minor touch up or a decent playfield. Not worth the work at $3k in my opinion.

yup, for 3k you are gonna have to do some work to either just make it play... or spend more time and money if you are wanting to restore...

for 2k, you are gonna be sitting with 2k and no game.

Toss up a WTB with $4500 as an offer and you may find someone looking to sell a nice playing original with all the typical things on the cosmetic end. If that is what you are looking for then I would just put that number up in the thread title. I have found it to be a good way to chum the waters when looking for a rare title in a specific condition.

I agree that a Fathom for 2K or less is not going to happen unless you get VERY lucky. Took me years to find one. YEARS. You can just about build one from scratch for 5K, much easier than finding a used one for 2K.

what is the hardest part to find currently to build one?

I guess a CPR pf is a tough item to track down also?

harness is made by 1 person (but expensive and quite the wait)
