Finally put a whirlwind in my collection and it is good. I had played it at friends and stuff but in a home collection it does well. I have owned lots of Sys11's and they usually get old pretty quickly.

Both fun games. I have an Earthshaker CPR Gold playfield if you decide you want to swap playfields after you get your new machine.

Scott Weir@ Weir Pinball has a nice Whirlwind for sale here on Pinside.

Check the interconnect boards on system 11's. Common issue is the GI connectors especially if game was routed & left on for long periods of time. They are sometimes dis colored & crispy. Just FYI

yep, everyone I have ever picked up had to have the connectors redone.

You can also but new interconnect boards.

Good luck in search. A reasonably priced Ww is as tough to find as a jjpotc.

Whirlwind last quite awhile in my collection.I feel it would be bad luck to sell mine. It’s the first pin I brought after the tornado

I bought a hurricane and whirlwind in a auction 2 weeks before the tornado. They tried to deliver them 2 days after and I had to divert them to my office. kind of weird.
