The divots sure don't help the ball launch correctly from the catapult wireform ramp. But also consider that many of the catapult ramps were engineered incorrectly right from the factory. There have been posts about this including the way you can use a dowel to help bend the ramp into the proper form (some say while installed, but I removed it to be able to apply plenty of force). Perhaps the ramp produced now for MMR is formed to correct that original defect, not sure. Just thought I'd mention it in case your ramp can be made to function without buying a new one.
