Pink page links still do nothing.
Still unable to post part wanted ad.
Quoted from vicjw66:Check with Steve Young at The Pinball resource. He's probably your best bet.
Steve has millions of parts. This ain't one of them.
Steve is even less likely to have a fix for this website.
Maybe file a bug for the marketplace itself.
Include browser and OS info.
And a snapshot.
FWIW, it seems to work fine for me.
If you're running adblock, turn it off for this site.

(1) Huh?
(2) Win7, IE11(w/o adblock), firefox 38.0.5(with)
(3) okay.
The radio buttons work. The forsale/wanted/machine/parts/mods/somethingelse links have no effect.
(4) congrats. I'm happy for you.
(5) with/without doesn't seem to matter.
1: This thread is likely to get ignored since it's a "marketplace" ad misfiled in the wrong place.
2: Thanks.
3: Thanks.
4: Dude, just trying to get adequate info for Robin to reproduce this without guessing at what you're hitting. If he tries it, and it works, he's likely to ignore it. Fact of life - easier to fix the bugs that are clear and easy to reproduce than to guess at what people are doing. Ignore me if you want, or get mad if you want. *shrug*
The key bit that's new information:
"The radio buttons work. The forsale/wanted/machine/parts/mods/somethingelse links have no effect."
If you click one of those, it should show a color (pink) photo instead of black and white. From there, continue to scroll down.
Specify what game this is about, if appropriate. Or specify it should not be linked to a game.
Edit the ad title.
Edit the ad description.
Anything else is optional there.
Scroll down to the bottom, look for the blue Add Item to Market.
If this behavior is not what you see, then I'll try and reproduce it by downloading Microsoft Windows, Internet Explorer, and seeing if I can see any errors (javascript errors) that are useful to Robin. And then I'll file a bug report *outside* of this request for parts. Lumping everything into one thread is unadvised if you want to see anything fixed...
Get some caps from Steve that match those but have no numbers on them. Then scan your old ones and make some clear decals. Will look fine.
balzofsteel: Downloaded Win7+IE11 from modern.ie . Tested placing a marketplace ad.
Works for me. Perhaps the flow is confusing. Maybe this video will help.
Considering this "not a bug" and resolving this issue.
Went to want ad page and clicked button, it worked.
Clicked button on blue page, it worked.
Pink page loads, type stuff in boxes ok, click radio buttons ok, gray links don't turn pink for me like yours did. Click post button just for giggles.
Error: I didn't get pink links.
Not ignoring. Not mad yet. I appreciate the considerable effort put into reproducing this issue. Egads! A video even!
I will attempt to edit the thread title so this doesn't look so out of place.
Firefox on, adblock off. What's the big deal? There's no ads anyway. Let's go see the want ads.
Here we are. Let's do an ad.
Here we are. Let's do an ad.
Welcome to the pink page of working radio buttons and text boxes but, alas, those pink links remain stubbornly gray. Clicking on those still does nada.
Didn't bother with the post button as I've already seen the error message.
Dug into Firefox and dumped all the cookies. Saved you the trouble of telling me to dig into Firefox and dump the cookies. Log back in and try again. Didn't take pix but they would look just like those in the previous post. Same results. Everything works just peachy right up to for sale or wanted.
I'm gonna try and reproduce this issue and then hopefully also fix it. Thanks for reporting the issue and stay tuned for (hopefully) a fix soon!
if you are familiar with how to do it.. Check to see what the JavaScript error log shows when loading this page and after clicking. Perhaps something will become apparent there. You can reproduce this easily - and as the video shows I can't at all.
Well, that red error line is definitely a problem. What line number is it showing?
Could you try doing a shift-refresh and see if that helps? Maybe your browser is caching an old version of the javascript file?
