I’ll post a pic of what it should look like.
I’m in the middle of one now, but off the top of my head, it seems your clock gears (motor) are chewed up, or there’s way too much pressure on the hands.

Here you go. I usually get the pin in the hole and then get the minute hand over that. The pin slides sometimes, so you may have to kind of slide the minute hand from The bottom part so it sears, and then go over the center hole. After that fasten with the lock washer to secure.
