Hi OP, have you considered a back bar? They tend to take up much less space. A bar looks cool, but consider if you are really going to sit at it. We get drinks and go to other parts od then basement or down by the pool or dock instead.
Don’t know if you have a large liquor collection but they get incredibly heavy. In my case, I bought a separate industrial cabinet to store my collection. It is 4x4x2, and each shelf will store 1500 pounds. This is on the extreme end of things, but it looks cool as hell.
