Had a friend dip these legs. I think they came out pretty good.

If these TWD mods keep up this level of quality, I'm going to go broke!

Nice job!

Got any pics of them installed? I've got a co-worker who does this kind of stuff, and I've been thinking about hitting him up.

I will put them on tomorrow and post a pic.

They are a hydro graphic dip.

They could be. But they aren't cheap to have done. And there are minor imperfections in the clear that i can live with. But when you start selling them customers there can't be any imperfections. He is new to the process and will take time to get to the point where i fell confident to sell them for machine's.

are these available?

Now that would have been very cool armor and leg art for the LE. Wow

#13 5 years ago

Awesome! Way to take it to the next level on the finish.

I can have more made. But the price is $250 plus shipping. Not cheap but its a little more extensive then powder coating. Or if you have a set of legs to send in that would knock $50 off the price.

Wow! Great idea!

Can he do the lockdown bar and rails the same?

He can't right now because he would need a bigger dip tank to do the side rails. and i'm not sure how auto clear would hold up on the lock down bar.
