Quoted from beatmaster:when will stern understand that a good code before putting the machine out in public is important?
it isn't important to all the day one le buyers so why should this be important to stern?

thanks for the video. i have gone to the position of neutral after watching that video.when code is done in a year let's see where it stands with all the other new stuff coming out from the competition.
Quoted from 27dnast:But I have to say, for $7600-$7700...it leaves the door open to see what other options might be out there: The Hobbit. The Big Lebowski. We are talking nearly equal price points.
yeah twd making it into my home has gone completely off the rails for me, i really anticipated more. tbl, hobbit, and pats original theme pin are on my radar now.
maybe stern knew what they were doing by not offering a premium version judging by the way it is shaping up?
Quoted from RobT:I agree, especially with your last sentence. I'll be honest, if it weren't for the fact that this is my most wanted theme and Lyman is doing the code, I'd be out.
good luck, i hope it works out for you this time. lyman on code will be a safe bet imo.
Quoted from rai:So you're in favor of Stern removing a $3 part from the pro like spinners so that it's less enjoyable thereby making the pro a less appealing pin.
pony up large for the le or eat shit and buy the lobotomized version that still is overpriced and lacking basic magnets and spinners. what a great way to promote pinball and reward their (still) loyal customers.
