The problem with call outs between TWD, Xmen and The Avengers..is the artwork doesnt match.
Honestly i cant fault the audio callouts on Xmen, the art looks like the comic book, it is purely your imagination (the reader) as to what their voices should sound like.
The Avengers - Bad audio. If you are going to make the artwork for Black Widow represent Scarlet Johansen, and Nick Fury look like Samuel L. Jackson, then they should either be real audio by those actors, or voice actors that at least try to sound like them.
Same holds true for Walking Dead, if youre going to slap pics of Darryl on the apron and other cast members on the cabinet that represent the tv show, then at the very least invest in some voice actors that try to least sound like the cast of the show. If you want to use Hillbilly redneck callouts, then the art should have went with the comic book series.
I will say i have learned from this personal experience, audio does play a big factor in my pinball machine purchasing decision making. I was really excited about TWD and considered purchasing one, but after playing it...damn the audio kills it for me.
Flip side, Iron Man, amazing audio on this game pulls me so well that i can get past the shallow ruleset as the audio adds to this games adrenal rush.
