Quoted from ezeltmann:Strangely quiet in here . I guess complaining about no voices trumps actually having the problem addressed . but this is the nature of the beast that is pinside.
It does amaze me that there are not more people excited by this. You and millhouse worked so hard on this with such good results.
The no real actor voices post was pages long. This makes a good playing game have good actor voices now.
Quoted from robotron:I am also getting the squelch, I have donated and entered my product key. redid everything and copied into usb stick, ill load into the pin tomorrow as it takes 30 minutes to go thru the process. I hope it works out, this is a deal breaker for me as all the voices have that awful squelch.
It will sound fine now that you entered the key. Then adjust the attenuation last setting in game settings. I set it to -10.
Then enjoy.
Quoted from milhouse:For the adventurous....
A beta of my 1.25 Sounds Replacement has been released. I have installed on my TWDLE and its working pretty well.
This is working on the new release 1.28 on a Pro.
Thanks for your hard work!
Quoted from cleland:I think I got it figured out, someone please re-download the "Clean Pro" and verify for me. Weird issue with Contiguous memory and Free Memory not matching up the first time around.....of course only with the Clean Pro version. All have the same values now so it should be good to go.
I installed it a played a couple games it worked fine.
Thanks.
Mark
Quoted from milhouse:I really wasn't planning on doing this because I have no way of testing this, but because I've received so many requests for a Pro version, I have attempted to make one. I completely disclaim any liability on this because I have no way to test it. Earlier versions have worked with the Pro, using the Macro method, and you can look through the thread for more information. I don't think there will be a problem, but I cannot guarantee anything. Also, cleland has created versions designed for the Pro, so you can use those.
However, if you are one of the people who likes to live dangerously, here is the file. I accept no liability if it blows up everything you love and hold dear.
I installed it on my Pro and it is working fine.
THANKS! for doing this.
Quoted from Raiders:Does anyone have a video of this on a pro version? Thinking about trying it out. Has anyone had any problems with the 1.28 version?
Just flash it on to your Pro if you don’t like it flash it back to stock. It is working fine.
