I have noticed the walkie talkie squelch on my LE as well. First time using PB and I plan to make a donation no matter what, but I too would like to know if the registered PB version addresses the issue and if I need to reload the code. Amazing improvement to the game, thanks Milhouse!

OK, so I upgraded my PB to version 4.37 a la donation to Oga83, then re-did the whole process and, voila, the little "squelch" bits at the end of some of the sound strings are gone! I did not test them all, just the first few where I knew I could hear static before, and it is gone now - they sound great! Got to go update the pin now. Thanks again, Milhouse, awesome work!
