It couldn't beat roadshow, Family Guy, or Revenge From Mars to name a few. To each his own I guess but TWD is pretty amazing imho. I've got it in the top 20 at least!
The 3 games you mentioned are leagues better. Of course they're rated higher!

Presentation goes a long way. Sparky is just COOL...a cool character and when he gets electrocuted, it's awesome. The prison is a weird house with a giant head in the doorway for some reason. The Wellwalker is just another giant torso figure that flops a bit on top of a 'metal target'. I just really hate TWD's toys so much, it's hard to get past it to enjoy any merits it might have.

Logically that makes sense - but the presentation still bothers me. I still see a giant box, and you hit a wall. The wall opens up to reveal...another wall. I just see missed opportunity to do something better.

If anything, TWD gets by on theme. There are no other zombie games and no modern horror themed pins. Avengers, being a superhero pin - will inevitably be compared to Spider-Man, Batman, Ironman, X-Men, etc.

Exactly - so if you're not feeling Avengers, you have other super hero options. Despite TWD's flaws, since there are no other zombie/horror games - if you're a fan of that genre - you can overlook those things as there's nothing else like it.
