I took delivery of a (second hand) walking dead LE today. All works well other than the crossbow seems to get stuck in "swinging" mode some of the time. I'll load the ball into the crossbow, take the shot, but the crossbow keeps moving back and forth across the playfield. I thought maybe it was only happening when i missed the crossbow shot but that doesn't seem to be the case (it just seems to happen some of the time). It kept moving till i drained one time and then another it seemed to keep moving ever after i plunged another ball.

Any suggestions on what i can try / how to best troubleshoot?

ah yep - thanks!! The test shows that is not making it all the way back to depress that physical switch it should be hitting when its in the home position. I tried just lifting the cross-bow mech a bit and that seems to have helped. Is it likely just a matter of tweaking it a bit so that it sits in that position a bit more easily? just gently lifting it a bit? or is there some other trick to getting it back on the right trajectory?
