Will, to be honest, your machine looks better than the one just presented by Stern. Way to go. Love to see this on DPO 2017!

I think Steve's version play's mutch better than mine because of the Data East rules i used.

cpu and sound boards are under repair, so when back i can try this desw remake out.
As you can see i have no working space around the machine.
So its literally built on the attic by hand.
Next month my son is going out with his girlfriend and i have his room for my hobby 
The barbecue 10 juni i not a option for desw remake sorry.

Waiting for my (dancing) R2 from England.
For the rest its 100% finished and working now.
When the R2 is instaled left under the capture bal i wil post a gameplay video.
The Data East SW remake is playable on the
DPO Expo 2017 .
And it wil be on the Seminars.

Don't know how I missed this! I'm one of the minority that likes DESW, but this looks pretty! Doing a great job, can't wait for the game play video!
After four months waiting for my cpu is working i completed my home made Starwars yesterday.
It took my five months to design and build this machine.
The Data East SW remake is playable at the dutch dpo expo 11 and 12 november.

You can request the ROM for the LCD from them. It is available.
I think the ColorDMD LED will fit better with the lighted backglass, the LCD is bigger and will show a shadow on the lighted translite.

you are right , led is better for my machine.
So i think i let the lcd in the Mediëval Castle and when having some extra cash i buy a extra led for the SW.
Its also better to ad a extra powersupply then i think.
Power supply is cheap on Aliexpress. My ColorDMD leds are not on a separate power supply but those are Stern and Williams not Data east.

I also don't have a extra power supply in my MC for the color dmd.
But for Data east its beter.

I have seen the sw video from colordmd , it looks very simply only 4 colors at a time or so.
So i think i go for the pinball sp led display with pin2dmd software this time saves me 220 euro 
Or get the one from Pin2dmd from germany via german gaming supplies. He is also visiting DPO. I am using his without issues.

This is it, the Star Wars homemade remake, originaly made by John Borg by Data East in 92 is done.
Next year i want to start a new project funhouse type
Style game with four levels. The 4 level wil be at the botom of the cabinet and playing on the extra big monitor in the backbox.
Or the next project is a new Invaders From Mars (with the software from the 95 wms Attack from mars.
